The wait is over! Retro Lángos on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street officially reopened on October 13! And we’ve been up to a lot more than just a fresh coat of paint. We’ve expanded the restaurant, completely redesigned the dining area, and added some exciting new features. But one thing hasn’t changed: lángos is still the star of the show!
More Space, More Lángos, More Retro!
If you’ve visited us on Bajcsy before, you probably know that finding a free table wasn’t always easy. That’s why expanding our dining area was one of our biggest priorities.
Now there’s more room for everyone, whether you’re stopping by with friends, bringing the whole family, or just craving a delicious Hungarian lángos.
We’ve also given the interior a completely fresh look. It’s brighter, more modern, and full of personality, but don’t worry, we’ve kept that Retro vibe you know and love!

Our makeover didn’t stop at the restaurant itself. We’ve added brand-new lángos creations to our menu, too!
Of course, the classics aren’t going anywhere. Your favourite garlic lángos and the legendary sour cream and cheese combination are still waiting for you.
But if you’re the type who loves trying something different, we’ve got even more delicious options to explore!
Alongside our generously topped speciality lángos, you’ll still find gluten-free options and plant-based alternatives on our menu.

Reopening is just the beginning. On November 7, we’re throwing a Grand Opening party to celebrate our newly renovated Retro Lángos!
Expect live music, a DJ, a spin-the-wheel game, gifts, and plenty of surprises. We’re planning a day that’s about much more than just great food.
